The Concentration of Power

Do our political systems operate according to the democratic principles that try to accomplish, “government by the people, for the people”?  The vast majority of individuals would answer this question with a resounding, “NO“.

Everyone recognizes the influence of powerful individuals and groups on the way we are governed.  The laws and regulations that get passed seem to defy logic and conflict with the promises made when we voted for our representative. Political corruption stories come to light almost on a daily basis that have us all wondering how is this possible. We continually express our dissatisfaction only to be disappointed by the next immoral/illegal act by those we have elected to represent our interests.

There is no question that there is a concentration of power in our political systems whereby the control of our system is in the hands of a few.  There is an answer as to why this is happening and it will surprise you how this problem can be fixed.
